Precautions for use |
Peroxide used as cross-linking agent should meet the following conditions:
(1)At the required temperature, the decomposition product should ensure the smoothly crosslinking.
(2)Only cross-linking reaction for polymer modification can be occurred.
(3)Compatible with elastomer and plastic.
(4)The shipping, storage and processing process should be safe.
(5)Non-volatile, to avoid losses during mixing process.
(6)In case of contains other mixing element such as packing or enhancer, it should have activity.
(7)Peroxide and its decomposition products should be non-toxic, and in compliance with industrial health requirements. |
