1. Origin
The wax is extracted and refined from the seeds of wild Sumac(Cotinus
Coggygria), which we have introduced from Japan and have been cultivating
on a large scale for nearly 10 years. Its physical and chemical index
are the same as that of the original Japan Wax. Its main component is
Palmitic Acid Glycerides.
2. Component
Refined Japan Wax, composed of Glycerol of Palmitic Acid and Oleic Acid,
is Fatty Glyceride formed by high-grade Fatty Acid.
3. Characteristics
(1) Appearance: milky white solid, surface with polish, with viscidity
and toughness, fissility without polish.
(2) Odour: suety waxen fragrance
(3) Diffluence: it is soluble in mineral ether, chloroform, turpentine,
toluene, hot ethanol and insoluble in water. It can be used after mixed
with beeswax, cocoa butter and other glyceride.
(4) Used as raw material of slap-up cosmetics: the wax may endow product
with viscidity and toughness, polish, and keep transparency. These can
add higher value to products.
4. Application:
(1) Viscidity and toughness: the wax can increase the viscidity of cosmetic,
and keep proper hardness. Compared with Sumac (Rhus) Wax and Paraffin
Wax, it can even make products keep proper viscidity and toughness.
(2) What the wax is used as raw material of cosmetic is a more representative
usage. The wax is solidified in pomade by right of using castor oil, and
becomes the gel state. It can keep transparency in the gel state.
(3) Polish: the wax with feature of exquisite crystal endow product with
polish.
