waxes--Chinese Tree Wax
1. Origin
The wax is a kind of vegetable lipid extracted from the fruit of hight Chinese
Tallow Tree.
2. Component
The wax is composed of multi-fatty acid, and assumes flinty lily lipid
under normal temperature conditions. It is soluble in mineral ether and
acetone, insoluble in water. It is attributed to non-dry oil.
3. Application
£¨1£©Food processing: used as the auxiliary material of processing jelly-rice-candy
and Dragon Well tea. It is also used as edible oil under special circumstance.
It can also be used in vanaspati ghee. Typical cocoanutoid butter can
be obtained after Chinese Tree Wax is crystaled or extracted by impregnant
respectively.
£¨2£©Special usage: it can be used to prepare pure Palmitic Acid.
£¨3£©Other usage: be similar to Sumac (Rhus) Wax product.
