Rubber Powder Modified Pitch
It is made of fine pitch and tire rubber powder by means of high technology and advanced techniques, a new paving material for highway road. It meets and surpasses in part the requirements of SBS (1) I-C in << the Construction Specifications on Highway Modified Pitch Road Surface >> (JTJ036-98) after testing jointly made by Tianjin Rubber Research Institute and Tianjin Highway Administration. It can be used in the highway surface construction at all levels as well as in the expressway.
The product can greatly enhance the stretch rate in low temperature environment, with strong resistance to crazing, friction, heat-aging, etc. It has the following features.
• To improve track and road surface load capabilities obviously.
• To increase the elasticity of road surface and reduce noise.
• To increase the aggregate bonding and prevent road surface from chapping, casting, or exposing.
• To keep the road from skidding and improve the braking capability and safety.
• To make the service life of road surface longer
• To be much better in terms of capability and price than SBS modified pitch.
