II、 Application：
    The product is used in paper—making and in producing fiber pomace and also in production of soap and compounded fat acid and in the abstracting animal and vegetable oils in Light and Textile industry.
    It is used as cotton desizing agent， boil extracting andmercerizing assistant in Dyeing and Textile industry.
    It is used in manufacturing such raw materials as tinklite cymag， methanoic acid， oxalic acid， phenal etc. in Chemical industry.
    It is used in refining oil products and in the drilling mud of the petroleum industry.
    It is used in treating bauxite when smelting aluminum from alumina and is also used in surface treatment of zinc and copper and in readjustment of electroplating liquid in metalluragical industry.
    It is also used as additive agent for neutralization， de—crustation， deodorizing， de—coloring and de—toxin as well as used as detergent in food industry.
III、 Property：
    There are two varieties of the product in this factory i.e. Caustic Soda insheet and in liquid. Sheet goods are white in color in solid sheets， with a very strong hygroscopic property， soluble in water， giving out heat when dissolved; whereas the liquid goods are transparent， colorless or light blue with a strong basicity. (alkaline property) Caustic Soda is soluble in alcohol and glocerol but not soluble in such organic solutions as acetone and diethyl ether.
Caustic Soda possesses a very strong corrosivity which can cause damage to cellulose， destroy organic tissue， hurt the skin， and corrode clothes， glass， pottery and metals such as platinum.
