Cupric
Sulfate
Byname: blue copperas
English Name: cupric salfate
Molecular Formula: CuSO4.5H2O
Molecular Weight: 249.68
Content: ≥96% Cu≥20.3%
Characteristic: It is bright blue and asymmetric triclinic
crystal powder. Density: 2.284. It can dissolve in water
easily (at 00C, 31.6g/100ml of water,and
at 1000C, 203.3g/100ml of water) and in methanol
lightly, and it cannot dissolve in anhydrous ethanol.
At 450C, two water molecules in the hydrate
lose, and at 1000C, four water molecules
lose. At above 2500C, all the water molecules
in the hydrate lose, and a white anhydrous cupric sulfate
powder with strong moisture absorption ability results.
Packaging: The product is packed with intertexture bag
with plastic lining bag. The net weight of each bag
of product is 25kg.
