Fluorine-free Sealant:
(Product No.: EAS-99)
ESA-99 medium-temperature fluorine-free sealant is finely
prepared on the basis of the same type of products home
and abroad. It meets the requirement of fluorine-free
environment protection, and it is especially for the
sealing of thick oxide membrane and chemically dyed
section bars.
1. Characteristic
1.1 Wide operation range, easily controllable trough
liquid and good stability.
1.2 Fluorine-free, and no harm done to human body by
fluorine, which meet the requirement of environment
protection.
1.3 The sealing of 20-30mm oxide membrane takes no more
than 30 minutes, and no ash remains.
1.4 The sealing treatment of dyed section bars does
not cause depigment.

Time:12-30min (depending on the thickness of oxide membrane)

pH value: 5.5-6.6
3. Control of Trough Liquid
Adjust the pH value of trough liquid to be between 5.8-6.5
by using acetic acid or ammonia.
Nickel ions are provided by nickel acetate. While adding
nickel acetate, EAS-99 must be added at the same time,
and the ratio is: nickel acetate:EAS-99 =1:(1-1.2).
Pay attention to the temperature fluctuation during
production. The sealing fails when the temperature is
lower than 35?, while “sealing circle” will
appear on the section bar surface when the temperature
is higher than 55?.

4. Note
High quality water is required for the product, and
the use of pure water trough is the best way to solve
the problem. During production, cross contamination
should be avoided, and the use of circulation system
is suggested
5. Analysis Method
Add 5ml of trough liquid, and add 50ml of water, 10ml
of suffer solution (pH=10) and trace amount of purple
ammonium uric acid as indicator, then titrate the trough
liquid with 0.01N EDTA standard solution till the end
point (aubergine). The consumed volume of EDTA standard
solution is V (ml).
Calculation:
Nickel content(g/1)=N*0.05869*V/5*1000
6. Requirement of Environment Protection
Neutral, and treated together with other sewage in the
plant.
7. Equipment Requirement
Spot heating or steam heating pipe can be used for heating.
