Climbazole is an extensive and highly
efficient antimicrobin. It can restrain many kinds of fungi especially
those which produce dandruffs from irritating head skin due to hydrolysis.
It is stable to light, heat, and acidic or slightly basic environment.
It is widely applied in shampoos, bathing lotions, mEDIcinal soaps,
and mEDIcinal toothpastes. It is easily dissolved in alcohols and
nonionic surfactants. The recommended amount by weight is 0.4 -
0.8%. |
