DIH has a comparable reactivity to molecular iodine, and has been demonstrated to be a very selective and at the same time higher yield alternative to N-iodosuccinimide (NIS) for the iodination, and be applied to sensitive material of photography. As an iodizing agent or an oxidizing agent in production processes for medical drugs, agricultural chemicals, chemicals, or the like. |
