This series is made from high grade coal through pulverization, wet granulation (coal tar as bonding agent, extrusion method), carbonization and activation. It is of cylindrical form.

It is used to capture harmful substances or bacteria in gases in chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. It is effective in recovering volatile aromatic hydrocarbon, alcohol, ether, ketone, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, etc.
