MOLECULAR FORMULA: CH4N2SO2
Property: Loose and white powder of crystallization. It's a kind of white and odorless powder. Its solubility is 26.7g/liter in water (at 20°C), after soluble in water, it appeared as acidity, PH is about 5.0, and saturated solution would be decompounded if a heat or alkaline is given and Sulphonic acid would be dissociated
The quality of thiourea dioxide have reached the standard as below:

the content of remnant thiourea ≤ 0.1%
sulphate content ≤ 0.17%
moisture content ≤ 0.05%
molysite content ≤ 10ppm
Toxicity:Thiourea Dioxide has almost the same toxicity as Thiourea dose. The approximate lethal dose to a man whose physical weight is 50kg is about 500g.

Use: This product is mainly used in dyeing industry to instead of using of Sodium Hydrosulfite or Rongalite, about 3~5 multiples effect than S.H., Secondly used to organic synthesis fiber industry, It can also be used as additive in polyreaction, stabilizer for polythene, sensitizer of photographic emulsion and so on. It especially suitable for dyeing and bleaching continuously with a high temperature condition. It’s no danger, no pollution during using process.

Transportation and store:
This product must be keep cool, ventilation and dry in the course of store and transportation and be strictly on guard against moisture exposing to the sun and raining .It should not be mixed with oxidizer in store and transit. |
