Physical & chemical properties The rosin use direct fire to heat or vapor distillation to remove turpentine. Generally light yellow or tan. Density 1.07~1.09. Acid value no less than 150. Better quality than wood rosin, lighter in color, larger acidity, higher softening point.
Use Used in the prepartion of washing soap, metal soap, varnish, ink, welding material, insulation material, etc. Also used as paper sizing agent and soften to increase rubber adhesion, etc.
