Celluloid tri-metric crystal or powder in blue, easy to be efflorescent in dry open air; the hydration number will decreases when heating; At 258, it becomes white-green copper sulphate anhydrous powder; at 650, it will decompose to Cupric oxide powder in black and liberate SO3. Soluble in water, its liquid acts as weak acid, slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in ethanol anhydrous. |

Applications: |
As a mordant for textile, such as silk and cotton; used to produce green and blue pigment; bactericide for water, antiseptics for wood, catalyst for tannage, electro-copper, battery. carving and so on ; used in mining industry and as raw materials of other chemicals.
In agro-chemistry, it used as pesticide, its liquid mixed with lime milk is insecticide for fruit trees and cotton and it also used to produce other pesticide (contain copper) preventing tans-potting, smut-fungi of barley & gibberella of wheat; used to produce trace-element fertilizer and as feed supplement
