PRODUCT FEATURES:

• This product is a kind of neutral, one-part, room temperature Cure, High performance silicone structural sealant for construction. The sealant can be easily extruded and react with moisture in air to produce comprehensive performance elastomer, resisting to cold, heat and corrosive.

• The sealant has a weatherproofing ability, resisting to ozone, ultraviolet ray, with a long service life.

• Excellent adhesion to the surfaces of glass, aluminum alloy, steel and stone materials and form a sealing structure with weatherproofing, durable performance and waterproofing abilities.

• Be compatible with all kinds of silicone structural sealant, weatherproofing, sealant, neutral sealant in silicone sealant series.

• The sealants are in black, white, green, brown. Other colors can be made to meet customer's requirements.

MAINPRUPOSES:

• Primarily use for sealing the joints of the structural or non-structural glass and metal glazing curtail wall.

• Use to seal the connecting surfaces between glass and assembly to meet the design requirements for full-hidden or half-hidden curtainwalls framework installation.

• Use for structural adhesion and seal to hollow glass.

APPLICATION:

• First, conduct application test site to determine compact ability and adhesive of the contacting materials, the application process can be started only after the test is qualified.

• The recommended back-up material is foaming polyethylene, the polyethylene tapes can also be used in rather shallow joint areas.

• During application, the depth of sealant layer ranges form 6mm to 12mm. The width of strutural sealant layer must be equal to or more than the depth of structural layer, and the width/depth ratio is recommended to 2:1.

• Substrale surfaces must be completely clean and dry. Clean off any water, dust, oil dirt form the surfaces of building material with solvent or detergent.

• For better appearance, cover outside of joint areas with masking tape before application, immediately remove the masking tape after tooling.
