Description: Glycerol ester of gum rosin is obtained by esterification of gum rosin and glycerol under vacuum state and shaped into pale yellow irregular granulars or lump transparent solid. It is an excellent tacky resin exhibiting high viscosity, good heat resistance and fine compatibility with various kinds of polymers.
Properties: This product is easily soluble in ethers, acetone, coal tar, esters, benzenes and other solvents and partly soluble in petrolic solvents. It is characterized by light color, superior yellowing resistance, good heat stability and antioxidancy, strong adhesive force. It is compatible with various polymers in any ratio.
Application: Glycerol Ester of Gum Rosin is widely used in the industries of hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives, solvent pressure sensitive adhesives and hot melt adhesives. It can enhance the initial and permanent adhesion of high pressure sensitive adhesives. It is compatible with the high polymers such as NR, CR, SIR, SZS, SBS and EVA.
