DMP¡ªPRESERVATIVE AGENT FOR SHRIMP
Preservative agent for shrimp adopts high quality biological agent and antioxidant as main raw materials. It possess very strong metalchelated ability and oxidative stability, it can inhibit the activity of enzyme and prevent the protein from denaturing, avoid color changing which results from decomposing of protein, so that the fresh shrimp will be protected from browning or head shedding.
Range of application: All kinds of whole shrimp and head shedding shrimp.
Characteristic: It can keep fresh, color, shape and improve the quality.
It can extend the guarantee period by 5-10 days with ice. Under the condition of freezing, the shrimp can keep fresh over 6 months.
Advantage: The product processed with the agent can meet the standard of FDA and EEC.
Appearance: White granule or powder.
Using method: To dissolve the preservative agent for shrimp by 2.5-3percet in water of 0-5 degree centigrade, stir well until it totally dissolve£¬then submerge the shrimp into the ready liquor for 25-50 minute, then stir them suitably, take them out and store them under refrigeration or freezing condition.(The submerging time can be adjusted according to the size of the shrimp.)
Key points: Mixing equality, soaking completely, controlling the temperature within 0-5 degree centigrade.
Attention: The ready liquor is allowed to be reused for anther 2-3 times as required. When reusing, the soaking time should be extended properly¡£The soaking time is as follows: 25 minutes for the first time, 45 minutes for the second and 60 minutes for the third. You can also add some more preservative agent, the addition quantities according to the results of the product tests carried out by the manufacturers. If the shrimp processed will freeze in the water£¬ it¡¯s better to put some preservative agent with them.
