Properties:

Colorless monoclinic crystal. Density 1.729, mp 48℃. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. Effloresces in warm dry air. Loses all its water at 100℃ and decomposes at higher temperature to Na₂S and Na₂SO₄.

Use:

As "antichlor" in bleaching of paper pulp; as fixer in photography; for extraction of silver from ores; as mordant in dyeing and printing textiles; also as reagent in analytical chemistry.

Packaging:

Plastic lined woven bag or drum, net weight 50kg or 25kg.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight and moisture.
