SP-2 High-perfomance Penetrating & Levelling Agent

Characteristics:

Excellent penetrating, moisturizing, emulsifying, levelling, dispersing properties.
Penetrating effect is equivalent to Leopheu-m (BASF). Optimum pH: 8
High detergency, defoaming.

Properties:

Appearance: clear, colorless to light yellow liquid.

Main ingredients: specialty non-ionic surfactant (≥72%)

Solubility: miscible with water

Density (25%℃): 1.0094

pH: 7.0±1

Stability: acid, alkali, hard water and salt resistant

Use:

As penetrating agent in scouring, bleaching, dyeing, printing and finishing processes for cellulosic, wool, silk and synthetic fibrs.

Recommended rate of use:

General purpose: 0.3-1.0% (w/w), particularly in situation where anionic penetrating agent is not preferred.

in dyeing of staple wool fibre: 0.3%-0.8% (o.w.f.)

in dyeing of wool fabrics: 0.5% (w/w)

in dyeing of wool top: 0.3% (w/w)

in dyeing of wool yarn: 0.6% (w/w)

in wool scorching: 0.5-1% (w/w). Also reduces use of alkali by 50%.

in wool scouring: 0.5%

in silk printing: 2%

in scouring, bleaching and dyeing of cotton fabrics: rate of SP-2 is 1/10 that of penetrating agent 601 or 1/5 that of penetrating agent 608.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Shelf life: one year.
