| Quicklime Desiccant |
| Brief: Quicklime Desiccant is the most economical and oldest line Desiccant. It has higher ability of absorbing moisture than Silica Gel at a low relative humidity.
Characteristics: The essential component of Quicklime Desiccant is calcium oxide, which absorbs moisture by chemical reaction. Its adsorption capacity is more than 32% of its own weight whether the relative humidity is low or high. In addition, the absorbed vapor can not be released because of firm combination of Cao and Water. But the quicklime shows alkalescence and becomes power after absorbing water vapor. So it isn’t suited for metal and electron products.
Usage: It is mainly used in these industries such as food, tea, leather, garments etc..
