COMPLETE SETS OF AC&DC DESALTING EQUIPMENT

[BACKGROUND INTRODUCTION]
From 1993,the requirements of more efficient desalting mentioned by refinery plant was stricter than before concerning result of desalter to prevent catalytic cracking heavy crude oil technology in China. A group established by our company, Beijing Design Institute and Nanjing Refinery Plant of Jingling Petrochemical Corporation developed new AC&DC desalting equipment considering and applying the function of AC&DC to coalescence of water drops. The new equipment means the technology was advanced in the world and means the beginning of desalting time with high efficiency. Many experts in petroleum refinery and technicians in refinery plants approved the technology. The application of the technology entered into peak time with more and more attention to prevent equipment from corrosion and had been used widely in refinery equipment in petrochemical industry. Sets of AC&DC desalting equipment which exported to Sudan Khartoum Refinery Plant expresses its smart to the world.

[EQUIPMENT COMPOSITION]

[TECHNICAL FEATURE]
As positive electro plate is adjacent negative electro plates and negative eletro plate is adjacent positive eletro plates along with axis of vessel one by one, the electric fields are light AC field, light DC field and strong DC field. In light AC field, emulsified films around the water drops oscillate and break down under the changeable AC field effect. They coalesce to bigger water drops and settle down from oil phrase. Then the crude oil enter into the DC field. Under the DC field effect, the different kinds of small water drops occur electrophoresis and coalescence in the electro plates. At the meaning horizonal electrophoretic collide with vertical settling drops greatly so that the drops coalescence and settle down furtherm. It is prior to AC desalting technology with high efficiency of desalting and dehydrating, stable operation, wide application for different crude oil, low consumption of energy and convenient maintenance etc.
