Free water knock out package in onshore/offshore oil field

（1）Operating Principle and Characteristic

CEDEC can supply professional free water knock out package with horizontal and vertical vessel, which can separating the liquid into oil, gas and water three phase, the vessel dimension is determined by the process requirements. In order to separating the liquid into oil, water, and gad Phase(some times including sands), multi-phase separator , free water knock out or heater treater can be selected.

（2）Selection

along with the process of exploiting time, the content of free water in the oil increases, sometimes even up to 98%. When this phenomena occurs, the primary designed equipment will not meet the requirement for water separating. The horizontal vessel we designed can separating large amount of water from the oil and can decrease the load of down dream process equipment. This can make the operating system run smoothly. The Setting vessel also can treat large amount of associated gas, cushion inlet liquid and remove the sand or other solid. The heater pipe also can improve the free water separate from the free water knock out system.

（3）Heavy Application

when treating heavy oil with the specific gravity from 6o to 12oAPI, the heavy viscosity, low liquid density and ill heat conductivity cause lots of particular problems. Moreover, the suspension exists in the inlet stream, sand jetting system should be adopted. We have developed a particular coalescer equipment for removing the suspension water and sand. We have much experience in the heavy oil treatment in Canada and China.
