Whitening Agent
Latest research shows that melanin is developed
through melanin cell after UV radiation. The UV ray stimulate
cornification cell to secrete some paracrine factor, and these
paracrine factor will stimulate melanin cells. Then melanin
cells release mature melanosome with melanin to conification
cell. So whiting and spots-removing should consider 3 steps.
Classic whiting ingredients only work in one phase.
Through many years of study, the scientists from

The working principle of SBK whitening agent is
as the following:
1. UV radiation stimulates the secretion of paracrine factors
2. Paracrine factors promote the biosynthesis of melanin in
melanocytes.
3. The distribution of melanin in epidermis
4. Action mechanism of SBK beauty factors to prevent pigmentation
(1).Antioxidation, antiinflammation and prevent DNA damage
UV radiation on the skin solicits three important marks: oxidation
pressure, inflammation and DNA damage.
a). Oxidation pressure leads to the darkening of existing melanin,
speed the damage of DNA and inflammation.. The high active anti-oxidant
agents such as ascorbic acid and glutathione can eliminate the
deep suntan rapidly.
Keratinocytes secrete two paracrine factors which stimulate
melanocytecells: inflammatory factors such as ¦Á-melanocyte which
can stimulate hormone; endothelin, prostaglandin(PG),etc.; The
another is pyridine dimer which is produced when DNA is damaged.
b). Inflammatory factors strongly stimulate melanocytes which
lead to the pigmentation. MT and chitosan in SBK factors can
effectively inhibit inflammation and pigmentation.
(2).Inhibit the synthesis of melanin in melanocytes
Three important enzymes: tyrosinase, TRP1 and TRP2 exist in
melanocytes whem they were activated by paracrine factors.
Among three pro-melanins, the dark DHI-melanin is synthesized
through tyrosinase, the brown DHICK-melanin is through tyrosinase,
TRP1 and TRP2, the red-yellow melanin-like is induced by glutathione(GSH)
or SH- mixtures. All of them are from tyrosine. The crucial
step to synthesize melanin involves the action of tyrosinase.
So the effective whitening method lies in: inhibit tyrosinase
and induce the formation of melanin-like which is lighter in
color than real-melanin..
1). Inhibit tyrosinase: arbutin and kojic acid in SBK beauty
factors can inhibit tyrosinase effectively.
2). Induce the formation of light melanin-like.
Among SBK beauty factors, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine has the similar
structure to tyrosinase, and it competes with tyrosinse to combine
with tyrosinase which reduce the formation of melanin and block
the polymerization of melanin.
5. Adjust the distribution of melanin in epidermis
Melanin synthesized in melanocyte accumulate in keratinocyte,
and then transfer to corneal layer of skin surface, and finally
scale from skin. AHA and Aloe juice in SBK beauty factors can
activate keratinocyte, speed the scaling , so it can whiten
the skin rapidly.
6. Resist UV radiation, block paracrine factors.
Natural pearl powder in SBK factors, with its particle size
in nano-level, can resist UV, prevent the formation of melanin.
