Black cohosh (known as both Actaea racemosa and Cimicifuga racemosa), a member of the buttercup family, is a perennial plant that is native to North America. Other common names include black snakeroot, bugbane, bugwort, rattleroot, rattletop, rattleweed, and macrotys. In our country, it is planted in Sichuan, Shannxi, Gansu and so on.
Main Function  
1. It was used to treat joint, muscle and nerve pain, rheumatism and menopause.
2. Black cohosh extract is approved for treatment of premenstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation) and for menopausal symptoms
