Jiangsu Chemstar Industries Ltd.(formerly Changzhou Tianzhi Chemical Co., Ltd.) is a joint-stock private enterprise , which specializes in the manufacture of pharmaceutical and chemical intermediates, and was moved into Changzhou Industrial Zone from the Wujin City proper in December 2002.

Since over one year ago, under the care and support of Changzhou Municipal Government, Xinbei District Government and Zhonghua Jiangsu Import and Export Company, our company has developed rapidly. The total industrial output value of our company from January to August this year amounts to RMB 22,980,000 yuan, 307.45% over that of the same period of the last year; accordingly we realized the profit and tax payment of RMB 3,930,000 yuan, three times as much as that of the same period of the last year. Presently,our company covers an area of 4,200 square meters,and possesses the fixed assets of over RMB 17,000,000 yuan. We have 128 employees, which include 38 engineering technical professionals and the majority of our employees enjoy the educational level over the technical secondary school.

Committed to the concept of operating on quality and developing on credit since our establishment, we have introduced advanced manufacturing technology and our products have been acknowledged and well favored in the domestic and international markets, thanks to the hard work of our marketing teams. We were smoothly certified to ISO9001：2000 of quality system with accreditation certificate acquired in September 2003 and been appraised as Credit Class AAA enterprise by Jiangsu Dongyu International Consultation and Assessment Co., Ltd.

At Present,our factory enjoys a complete set of infrastructural facilities. Besides enjoying the steam supplied by a thermal power plant, we have a heat-conducting oil furnace of 160 kilocalories and two sets of congealers of 105,000 kilocalories, and one 315 kV transformer. Our sewage treatment station has passed examination for operation and been operating normally. Our chemical laboratory has such testing instruments as High Performance Liquid Chromatograph,High Performance Gas Chromatograph, UV-7502C Spectrometer, and Melting-Point Tester etc. After expansion and reform, our chemical workshop No.1 manufactures M1 with the monthly output reaching 60-70 tons and the chemical workshop No.2 manufactures M2 with the monthly output of about 10 tons. Our monthly output for the two products ranks first in China and they have been completely exported to countries in Europe and Southeast Asia.

We began to established a pilot workshop of 252 square meters in the first half of this year and the construction was finished in the middle ten days of August, and it has been estimated that the equipment will be completely installed in October and be put into used within this year. Therefore we have well prepared the expanded manufacture of 4-S and imine. The three new products telmisartan, olmesartan and dihydroxy calcium have been well developed with very good manufacturing prospect. The refining/drying & packing workshop with an area of 4,000 square meters has been constructed according to the GMP Standard and has been basically installed with necessary equipment with the comprehensive debugging imminent. It is estimated that the workshop can be put into normal operation by the end of this year.

With the continuous development and expansion, we have considerably improved our manufacture conditions and infrastuctural facilities. Our employees work with three shifts (eight hours per shift) and enjoy complete working protection facilities. We have established dinning halls, computers,basketball court, air-condition , electric fans etc. for our employees, having basically satisfied their needs in work and living.

Our company as a small-size enterprise needs the support of big companies. On September 1, 2004, Changzhou Tianzhi Chemical Co., Ltd. signed a contract for joint cooperation with Zhonghua Jiangsu Import and Export Company and has changed our name to Jiangsu Tianzhi Chemical Co., Ltd. Thus we have laid a solid foundation for our brighter future.
