Glycolic
Acid is the dependable, flexible liquid sour required
by modern laundry systems. It provides far greater
solubility than silicafluorides or hydrofluosilicic
acid, permitting higher concentrations for greater
neutralizing efficiency, with no salting or rust
discoloration problems.
Glycolic Acid reaches a final pH level of 5-6 much
more quickly than silicafluorides, especially at
lower wash temperatures. Lower toxicity means no
damage to fabric, even when ironed wet. Glycolic
Acid liquid won’t cake in storage and is easier
to measure when using automatic dispensing equipment.
