Performance: No smell and colorless; relative density (-11℃) is 0.699; melting point is -93.5℃; boiling point is -6.3℃. It is easily soluble in water, soluble in alcohol and diethyl ether. It is weak alkaline. It is widely used in the production of vulcanizing accelerator, medicine and dye etc.
In pesticide field, it is used to produce dimethoate and omethoate and carbaryl; in pharmaceutical field it is used to produce medicines as sulfanilamide; in dyeing industry it is used as alizarin intermediate. In addition, it is also being used in rubber, chemical fiber field.
