Properties:
Odorless white powdery or scalelike crystal with smooth felt. Soluble in water, ethanol, glycerol, ether and essential oil. Aqueous solution is weak acidic. It will gradually lose water if heated, and will produce boron anhydrous at 300°C.
Use:
Mainly used in glass, enamel, metallurgy, leather and coating industries. In agriculture, it can be used as micro boron fertilizer, pesticide and catalyst. It is widely used to produce boride and in defense industry.
