Use:As material of veratraldehyde and ethyl vanillin; as intermediate of atenolol, DL-4-hydroxyphenylglycine, acetophenone and amino acid; as intermeidate of vanish, dyes, plastics, agro-chemicals; also used in the manufacture of allantoin.
