research and development of polysulfide polymers, polysulfide
sealants, acrylic plates for aircrafts,poly(butyl
methacrylic)blocks,
polyvinyl chloride plastols & polyurethane tackifiers, chlor-alkali, PVC,
organic chlorides, fine chemicals, etc. RICI has the import
and export right of foreign trade, and the qualifications of Grade A
engineering consultant, Grade B environment assessment, Grade C survey design
and third class pressure vessel design.

National Chlor-alkali Information Station and National PVC Information Station are set and
managed by JRICI. The institute edits
and publishes several technical periodicals, such as Chlor-alkali Industry and
Polyvinyl Chloride.
