medium-boiling-point solvent, colorless, nontoxic,
stable chemical properties, can be used as solvent
for cellulose-type coating such as nitrocotton, methyl
cellulose and resin-type coating; as solvent for medicines
such as pyrethrins, tetracycline and penicillin; as
mineral floatation agent, petroleum dewaxing agent
and coloring agent for color film; used to extract
rare elements from metals. |
