Usage: |
Calcium Borate is mainly used as raw material in alkali free glass fiber, glass, ceramics, coating and such industries. Comparing to other materials such as borax, boric acid, sodium metaborate, calcium metaborate and borocalcite, it has the following advantages:
1. Comparing to boric acid and boron-magnesium mines, using calcium borate in borosilicate glass and glass fiber products as raw material can reduce 57% of volatility, 13°C-50°C of melting point, save 16%-38% of fuel, increase 9.2% of output, reduce 11% of cost and extend the service life of kiln.
2. Comparing to borocalcite, sing calcium borate in borosilicate glass and glass fiber products as raw material can reduce 13°C-30°C of melting point, increase 9.8% of tensile strength of glass fiber, increase 9.2% of output, and reduce 9.8% of cost.
3. Calcium borate is more suitable to be drawn into fine fiber of 3um-7um, to keep the yield of glass fiber products at 80%-87%.
4.Using calcium borate in place of sodium metaborate, metaboric acid or boric acid as antirust paint can not only reduce cost but also meet environmental protection requirements.
5. Calcium borate produced by our factory is free of Cl harm to the service life of kiln.
