Physical and chemical properties:
A mixture containing >80% acermectin Bia and <20% avermectin Bib. the product is cololess to pale yellow crystals. m.p. 150-155¡æ.Solubility in water is 7-10¦Ìg/l (20¡æ), in toluene 35o, acetone 100, isopropanol 70, chloroform 25, etanol 20, methanol 19.5, n-butanol 10, cyclohexane 6 ( all in g/l, 21¡æ).
Toxicity: Acute oral LD50 for rats is 10mg/kg. Acute dermal LD50 for rabbits > 2000 mg/kg. Mild eye irrirant, non-irritating to skin(rabbits).
