COMMON NAME:Triazophos
STRUCTURAL FORMULA:

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:Pure triazophos is a yellowish oil liquid;m.p.2-5oC;v.p.13 mPa(55oC);density 1.25;Solubility(20oC):30-40mg/kg water; soluble in most organic solvents.Tech grade(80% min AI) is stable in normal conditions. 20% EC is a brown-yellowish liquid,stable in bormal stored conditions.

TOXICITY:Acute oral LD50:for rats 1100mg/kg.In 2-y feeding trials rats receiving 1 ppm diet and dogs 0.3 ppm diet only direct effect was inhibition of blood serum cholinesterase.Fish toxicity LC50(48-h):for crucian 8.4 mg/l.ADI for man 0.002 mg/kg body weight.

USES:A broad spectrum insecticide and acaricide with some nimaticidal properties.It controls Aphididae in cereals at 320-600 g AI(20% EC)/ha,in fruit at 75-125 g/1001. When incorporated at 1-2kg AI(20% EC)/ha in the soil prior to planting,it controls Agrotis spp.and other cutworms.It can penetrate plant tissue,but has no systemic activity.

PERCAUTION:
1.Preharvest interval is 7 days.
2.Don't mix with alkaline materials.
3.No contacting directly silkworm,carp,bee.
4.If poisoning,treat with atropine or PAM.
