STRUCTURAL FORMULA:

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES: Pure product is white crystal, m.p.83~84^oC.Technical product m.p.78~80^oC,d4201.73.It is soluble in water and some organic solvents.It hydrolyzes into dichlorvos in alkaline medium.It is umstable at high temperature.

TOXICITY:Acute oral LD₅₀ of technical to male rats is 630 mg/kg,acute dermal LD₅₀ is more than 2,000 mg/kg.It's no harm to rats for using 500 ppm trichlorphon to feed them for two years.

USES:It is a broad spectrum insecticide with stomach poisoning,contact action.It is mainly used on vetetables,fruit trees,tea,mulberry,cotton and rice against various pests,also against public health pests and parasites of domestic animal.In practise,the product has rather better effectiveness on diseases of fish.

PRECAUTION:
1.It is generally not harmful to crops with a concentration of 0.1%.The product should not apply on corn,apple,sorghum and soybean for it may sause some phytotoxicity.
2.The diluting solution of the product isn't preservative,It should be compounded at the using time.
3.There is a good agricultural practice in the use of pesticide(GB4285-84)for 90% technical product on rice,vegetables,orange and tobacco.Stop applying it ten days before tobacco harvest and seven days before rice and vegetable harvest.
