Ingrain BLUE IBN( THE FOLLOWING ABBREVIATED IBN) Is a type of Phthalocyanine dyes containing Cobalt medal in its complexing structure ,so it is called Cobalt Phthalocyanine dyes.IBN mainly used in imitation wax printing and wax printing process of dyeing or printing has its unique feature of bright shade , in particular , the brilliant reddish blue.its appearance is the blue powder.
- Application :
- Bright shade , special characteristic , such as good sunlight ,washing and chlorine fastness ,and non-hydrolysis .
- Insoluble in water and dissolved in organic acid ,for example, ACETIC ACID .
- Used with Azoic dyes,fast colour base and fast colour salt in alongside or combination printing for wax printing process and also with fast colour base liquid, fast colour salt for mixed dyeing to serve as turquoise blue( bright turquoise green )
- Can be developed in a cold or heat way according to the process requirement in actual production to acquire the bright shade.

Padding – Drying – Steaming – Washing with acid – Washing – Soaping – Washing – Drying

Notes:
- Due to IBN’s lower directiveness , some starch or tragacanth is added into the dyeing liquid to avoid migration in terms of production requirement .
- I IBN is readily dissolved in organic acid at room temperature without heating .HAC is a kind of conventional organic acid used in Adjusting PH to about 5.5.
Padding : room temperature and pick-up of 70-80%.
Drying :
After padding,pre-drying is necessary to avoid occurring of dyes’migration .There is no special requirement for drying temperature.Higer temperature can result in pre-developing for some of dyes in course of drying ,but it has no effect on the same goods’shade .
Steaming :
Temperature is 102 -105℃;steaming time : 120-180s
IBN’s steaming and developing time is over 90s and the shade will not be affected if the time is lenghthened. |
