Otsuka Chemical can also produce advanced intermediates by customers' request to meet its specific needs. ●羧酸的脱保护 GCLE的羧基由对甲氧基苯甲基保护，“苯酚法”是大塚化学建议的简便经济的脱保护法。被保护的化合物只需要在45～50℃的苯酚中，加热1-2小时就可以进行脱保护反应，在必要的情况下，还可以添加一定数量的酸作为催化剂，使反应更为顺利地进行。脱保护物用NaHCO3溶液萃取后可以很方便地分离出来。该方法适用于苯羟基酯或t-丁基酯，可以根据反应条件的不同，进行选择性的脱保护反应。
