Dimethyl malonate is a colorless liquid with aromatic odor. Slightly soluble in water (1g DMM soluble in 50ml water), and not miscible with ether, and oils, melting point is -62°C, boiling point is 180.5°C, relative density is 1.1540(20/4°C), refractive indexes is 1.4149.

Use: This product is the intermediate which used for medicine cefoperazone acid derby synthesis, spice and pesticide.
