Description

The product is yellow solid with melting point at 112.8-119.3℃ and boiling point at 444.6℃, which is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol and ethers, and soluble in carbon disulfide, tetrachloromethane and benzene.

Application

Sulfur is wildly used in the industry of production of sulfur acid, dye, artificial silk, fireworks and crackers, and rubber. It can also utilized in the area of military industry, medicine, pesticide.
