Properties:
Colorless, transparent and volatile liquid with irritant odor of camphor. Density: 0.8084g/cm3. Mp:-11.9℃. Bp:102℃. Index of refraction: 1.4052.Flashing point: 41℃. It can mix with water, ether, benzene, alcohol, chloroform, glycerin and petroleum. Flammable, when it meets high heating, fire and oxidizer would cause the danger of burning. Poisonous, it can irritant eyes, nose and breathing organs.
Uses:
Mainly used in synthesizing perfume of thyme and pesticides triadimefon. Also uses as intermediate, solvent and plasticizer for organic synthesis, used in making Chemicals pharmaceutical and floating agent of non-ferrous metal. Besides, it used in preparing oil film color-forming agent too.
Hazardous properties:

Storage and conveying:
It should be stored under ventilating, drying, fireproof, explosionproof and selfsealed conditions. Strong striking, sunshine and rain should be avoided. |
