Applications:
Leather & fur tanning, particularly high-grade
leathers.
Products Features:
Made by sulphur dioxide reductant technology
and high-speed centrifugal spray-drying processes.
The product is of stable quality, high solubility
& masking capability, giving even absorption
with very low chromate residue. The leather
surface is fine & smooth, with even luster
and fine handle & resilience. Easy to
use & measure, giving uniform leather
quality.
Packing & handling:
Packed in moisture-resistant paper bags Net
weight 25kg per bag. The product is chemically
nondangerous but should be stored in a well-ventilated
dry dark place.
Recommended Quantities:
Low basicity agent is best used for primary
tanning, at the rate of 5-7% of the weight
of the leather. High-basicity agent is best
for secondary processing at a rate of 3-5%
blue leather weight according to its classification.
Recommended use:
Based on bare leather weight:
Pickling fluid ratio: 1.0-0.8; +Salt: 5-8%
rotate 5 minutes; +Sulphuric acid: (66°Be)0.9-1.0%
rotate 3 hours; +Formic acid: 0.5% rotate
2 hrs. Hold in drum overnight until PH reaches
2.8-3.2.
Tanning:
Pour off part of the pickling fluid, tan in
the remainder;
Fluid ratio: 0.5-0.8; +Cationic oil: 1.0-1.5%;
rotate for 30 minutes; +Chrome tanning agent:
5-7% rotate for 4 hours; +Add hot water to
achieve fluid ratio of 2; Immerse hides until
temperature reaches 35-42 ;
Increasing PH, gradually to 3.8-4.0 with dilute
sodium bicarbonate liquor, continue rotating
4 hours; Hold in drum overnight, rotate a
further 30 minutes next morning before removing
from the drum.
