3.Physical Properties:

(1) Out looking:H-HPC is a white or lightly white powder, odorless and tasteless.
(2) Pellet: 20 screen passable rate is over 99%, 30 screen passable rate is 95%.
(3) Fault sepcific gravity:0.50-0.60g/cm3 ,gravity: 1.2224g/cm3
(4) Thermo stability: Temperature at which color change: 195 ~ 210°C.
Carbonization temperature:260 ~ 275°C.
Intenerate point:130°C. At temperature low than 38°C, becomes clear and transparent solution in water.
Gelatin temperature: over 40°C.

4.Properties:

(1) At normal temperature, it can dissolve it in many kinds of liquids such as absolute ethyl carbinol, alcohol, isopropyl, dichloride-methane, as well as in acetone, chloroform and acid solution agent. All solution are clear and transparent.
(2) H-HPC is good thermoplastic material with excellent film forming ability. Film formed using H-HPC is very rigid with good polish and high elasticity.
(3) Low content of ash presents result excellent adhesive. It can be used as adhesive agent for latex, stable with good dispersing ability.
(4) H-HPC is not a drug itself, poison less and has no physiological effect.
(5) H-HPC possesses good chemical inertia, hardly to react with other chemicals.
(6) The substitute base is distributed uniformly and sufficiently thus H-HPC is powerful in antibacteria.
(7) Low content of balance moisture.
(8) H-HPC does not become gelatin in acid solution due to its non-ionic composition and in large range of PH solution, its presents excellent stability.
(9) Solution of H-HPC can form regular liquid crystal of tropism.
(10) Solution of H-HPC possesses surface activity.
(11) With temperature rising and down, solution of H-HPC can change from gelatin to solution which is.

5.Dissolving process:
1. Dissolve in water

a) Add H-HPC slowly into water acutely stirred until dissolve completely. If add all materials once, it is very hard to effect.

b) Take 20-30% of water, heat to avove 60°C,add H-HPC into heated water while stirring, when finish to add all H-HPC, add residual water, H-HPC will completely dissolve.

2. Dissolve in organic matter

Add H-HPC slowly into organic materials acutely stirred until dissolve completely. If add alll materials once, it is very hard to effect.

6.Application:
Chemical ingredient HPMC made by Head Co.,Ltd. are widely used in food, cosmetic and other daily use chemical lines. Typical usage as following:

(1) Adhesive In chemical drug line, it is always used as adhesive such as for tablets, pellets, fine tablets,etc. The product is a medical accessory material of may uses. It can be used for densifiers, dispersing agent, emulsifying agent, lubricator and former etc. It's used as an adhesive and coating film in tablets, increasing markedly rate of dissolution and release, and strengthen water proof for tablets and also be used as mixed dispersing agent, eye drop agent, controlled released matrix tablets. It is combined with other synthetic polymers and gel-type drug products to prevent ethanol separated from transparent gel drug while improve water keep ability.
(2) Coatings H-HPC possesses excellent coating forming ability with good toughness and elasticity. Coating property can be improved together with other anti-moisture agent.
(3) Used as thicker agent to elixir, additive to scour and stabilizing agent to emulsion.
(4) Used as framework material to form controlled release tablets, pellet and double layer tablets.
(5) Used as gelatin agent with ethanol environment as well as ointment base.

7.Packing, transport and storage:
20kg or 25kg package in polythylene bag or barrel with inner liners. Keep dry where good ventilated. Do not wet, and keep from sunshine when transport.
