The Tablets includes denatonium benzoate, nitrogen, phosphate and potassium. It is repellent and fertilizer systemic tablet. It is placed next to tree roots at planting time. Soil moisture allows uptake of active ingredients into entire tree seedling. Once translocated, (25-50days) the active ingredients cause the edible portions of the plant to take on an offensive, bitter taste to deer, rabbits, elk, moose, voles and mice. Tablets continue to release denatonium benzoate, the repellent and fertilizer for 2 years. As it takes 4 to 6 weeks for ingredients to translocate, these tablets should be used in conjunction with Deer Away. The Deer Away provides immediate protection for up to two monthes, at which time the Denatonium Benzoate tablets become effective.
