Specifications: sodium hydroxide (NaOH) ≥96%, sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃) ≤1.4%, sodium chloride (NaCl) ≤2.8%, ferric oxide (Fe₂O₃) ≤0.01%.
Properties: The product is white opaque solid readily soluble in water with large amount of heat release, soluble in ethanol and glycerol and insoluble in acetone. It is strongly moisture absorbing. Produces sodium carbonate by absorbing moisture and carbon dioxide when exposed to air. Other properties are the same as liquid caustic soda.
Packing: Flake product is packed in double woven bags lined with plastic bag; 25kg per bag; Lump product is packed in 200kg iron drum.
