[ Property ] :

Insoluble in water, organic acid and weak inorganic acid,
soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid, alkali and hydrofluoric
acid, have good pigment function, nonpoisonous.
[ Usage ] :
Used as white pigment and porcelain glaze in the coating industry,
paint and stuffing in the paper-making industry, it can be
used in making sponge titanium, Ti-Fe alloy etc. in the metallurgical
industry, insulator, welding rod, and also used as medical
stuffing and food additive.

[ Properties ] :
White powder,specific gravity 4.26, bulking weight 700-800g/l,
index of refraction 2.72, insoluble in water,fatty acid and
weak inorganic acid. slightly soluble in basicity solution,soluble
in heated concentrated sulphuric acid,its ability of tinting
and hiding power,resistance of climate are stronger than that
of the anatase type titanium dioxide.
