Molecular formula & formula weight:
Colistin A: C53H100N18O13 1169
Colistin B: C53H99N16O13 1155
Preoaration method
Colistin sulfate ingredient mixed with high quality soybean meal under special processing. The active principle remain steadily stability and uniform mixing within the premix.
Application
The product may be use as bacterial inhibitor or growth promoter for animals. It gives strong antibiotic activity inhibit to G-organisms either at growth duration or state of dormancy.
Caused by Salmonella, E.coli, and other germs. It also effect to control obstinate dysentery that is resist to other antibiotic drugs.
When feed addition, it appears significant effect for increase in rate of weight gain and improvement of feed efficiency.
Mechanism
The free radical amino in active principle which carries positive electric charge combine with radical polyphoste (negative electric charge) in phosphatide among the cell membrane of G-organisms, it also link with nucleic acid to form an insolubility compound, causes the breaking of cell membrane, the phosphate, nucleic acid and other principles exude out of the cell. Then the germs tend to death.
Features
- With strong antibacterial activity to inhibit G-bacteria.
- Low frequency appearance of resistant organisms.
- None of cross resistance to other antibiotics.
- For increased rate of weight gain and improved feed residue, none of side effects.
