Description:
Clear, colourless to slightly yellow oil at room temperature. It has a mild odour.
Composition:
The product consists of crystalline vitamin D3 dissolved in medium chain triglycerides. It contain DL-α-tocopherol(E307)as an antioxidant agent..
Solubility:
Soluble in hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, ether, fats, and oils.
Note: Due to degradation of vitamin D3 by peroxides, it is important that the solvent is free of peroxides. The product can be dispersed in warm water (35-40℃) to form a milky emulsion.

This product is suitable for pharmaceutical preparations with a lipophilic base, e.g. soft gelatin capsules, oily solutions, drops, for ointments and creams.
Food products:
For fortifying fatty foods such as margarine, spreads, oils, milk and milk products. In calculated as cholecalciferol, are usually added per kg of margarine.

Storage … As vitamin D3 is sensitive to oxygen, light and heat, it should be stored in a cool place in the unopened original containers. It is recommended to flush containers with an inert gas once they have been opened and to use up the remaining contents as quickly as possible.
