Located at Taizhou (in Zhejiang Province), a rapid economy-growth city near sea, XINHUA PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMICAL PLANT is specialized in manufacturing bulk drugs and intermediates. The plant occupies a total area of 100,000 m2 , in which 18,000 m2 is dedicated to workshops. Over 200 people are working for the plant including 80 elite technicians. Various products have been developed and produced in large quantities, such as Iohexol, Cyromazine and series of Amino-acid protective agents. our newly developed product Ioversol, Iopamidol,Iothalamic Acid will put on market on june,2005. Now its business volumn has reached over 100 million yuan (RMB).
Based on advanced technologies, fine synthetic & analytical equipments, and other auxiliary infrastructures, the plant has the ability to produce various different chemical products and medicines. Especially in the area of manufacturing synthetic medicines, the plant is always there in the first place. Now, the products
have exported to various countries, such as USA, Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia.
The president and all stuff always believe "Technology is Blood for the enterprise". In order to achieve that, the plant has begun to cooperate with universities and research institutes. The R & D center has been established in shanghai and is ready to develop new Hi-Tech products, which will go into the markets at home and abroad in the near future.
Due to the rapid growth of the plant, a new factory --- ZHEJIANG HISYN PHARMACEUTICAL Co. Ltd. has now been under construction near Taizhou Bay (The state-level chemical bulk drug base). All workshops and other infrastructures, which are going to be used to manufacture three main series drugs: contrast agents (diagnostic), antibiotics, peptides and intermediates, are built under close scrutiny to meet GMP standard.
