Melamine cyanurate (MCA): Molecular formula is C6H9N9O3, product is white crystalline powder, insoluble in water, and other organic solvents, can be well dispersed in the oil medium, non-toxic, odorless, tasteless; has good thermal stability at 300 ℃; sublimation at 350 ℃ around, Decomposition temperature is about 440 ℃. It has a good flame-retardant effect, offers small processing smoke, flame retardant grade can reach to UL94-V0.
MCA is a multi-functional additive both with lubricating and retardant properties, the content of nitrogen> 48%, can be added and play a significant role in the flame retardant of rubber, plastics, especially in the nylon; having a similar layered structure of graphite and good lubricating properties at high temperature, high pressure, high load and impact load conditions; at the same time, it has stable lubricating properties even in high temperature, high speed, low temperature, slow or sudden temperature change conditions.
Application:
Widely used in the flame retardant of rubber, nylon, polyurethane, phenolic resin, epoxy resin, Acrylic emulsion, polyvinyl resin, PTFE resins and other Olefin resins; also be used for lubricants, binders.
