The history of Fujian Rongchang Chemical Co., Ltd. can be traced back to 1970, when preparations were made to establish the Fujian Fuwen Chemical Factory, it was put into function in 1978 and was later restructured into Fujian Fuwen Chemical Co. ltd. in Dec., 1996, after absorbing the shares of Fuzhou 1st Chemical Product Co. ltd, Fujian Rongchang Chemical Co. LTD was formally established in Oct., 2000. In Oct., 2005, Fujian Kaili Investment Co., Ltd. bought the share of Shunchang and Fuzhou 1st Chemical Product Co. Ltd, thus we became a private sole corporation. Our company now is located along the Futun Creek in northern Fujian near national highway 316, 1 km from the Fuwen rail station. Covering a land of 280,000 sq. m., our company has 7 workshops, 1 sub-plant, 1 independently operated subsidiary, and 600 employees, among whom 30% are technical and management personnel.

Through over 3 decades of hard work, our company has grown into a medium-I scale enterprise with CNY 1.7 hundred millions in assets, CNY 3 hundred millions of revenue and CNY 14 millions of tax. It is among the top 100 major firms and a major chemical enterprise in the province, a pillar company in northern Fujian.

At the beginning, we were a manufacture of chlorinated alkali products only; At present, we can produce a dozen kinds of products, including liquid caustic soda (100%) in 5,000 tons, polyolefine resin, Liquid Chlorine , Bleaching Powder, hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide, Hydrazo-dicarbonamide , ADC foaming agent , Chlorinated Paraffin, Sodium Dichloro-Isocyanurate, hydrazine hydrate, sodium hypochlorite, and so on. They are well sold to Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.

The management and standardization systems have been refined over years. Our Q/C dept. was among the first group of class I Q/C units issued by the Ministry of Chemical Industry. Our company was a recipient of many awards, including the national Model Enterprise in Operational Safety, the national Model Enterprise in Safety and Sanitation, Civilized & Sanitary Factory by Ministry of Chemical Industry, provincial Model Enterprise, provincial Model Enterprise for Facility Management, provincial Model Energy Saver, provincial Model Enterprise in Modern Management, etc.. On February, 18, 2003, we have obtained the certificate of ISO9001:2000 quality system.
