Barium Carbonate Series

Property: Industrial products for the white powder. relative density of 4.43; It is almost insoluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, soluble in acids and ammonium chloride solution.At 1450°C,it is decomposed into barium oxide and carbon dioxide;It is decomposed with the acid and reacted with sulfuric acid to produce white barium sulfate precipitation.

Application:Barium carbonate is mainly used in the manufacture of optical glass, picture tube glass, barium magnetic material and capacitor,it is also used in steel carburizing and metal surface treatment etc. It is materials for manufacturing other barium salts and ceramic, enamel, pigment, painting, rubber, electrode. It is also used as a purifying agent and rodenticide
